Frequently Asked Questions

Q.1 Can I decide on what songs you play for my wedding?
A.1Yes. However it can only be for the first dance. We have a huge repetoire of songs that we play. We usually judge on the night what order we play them in and what songs we do by who's dancing. Our setlist caters for all ages and all tastes, so if there is one or two songs you don't like that we play, don't worry, its usually part of a medly that links a style or genre of music seemlessly into another and you can guarantee that if its on our setlist...its a definite floor filler!! Q.2 How long do you play for?
A.2Normally we play for two and a half hours total. We take a short break in the middle when the teas and coffees come out.

Q.3 Where are ye playing next and can we come and see ye at a wedding?
A.3Click here to view our venues page with a full list of up to date weddings/functions we are playing - please feel free to come along and see us play at any one of them.

Q.4 Do ye provide a DJ?
A.4Yes we can provide a dj service. He usually kicks in as soon as the band finish their set and will play right through until the hotel tells him to stop (usually 2am).

Q.5 Can ye hold my date provisionally until we've had a chance to come and see ye?
A.5Unfortunately not, no date can be held provisionally or is considered confirmed until a deposit is received no matter what the circumstances are.

Q.6 What time will you arrive and what time do ye start playing?
A.6Every wedding is different with regards to start time. We will be ready to start at the time agreed between client and band. However we arrive at every wedding around 8:30pm. This gives us plenty of time for any wedding to load in and have set up on time. Most weddings start around the 9:30pm but we have no problem starting later. This is not recommended however because the later the start then the less likely we'll have the time to play the full two and a half hours.

Q.7 Can you set up before our guests arrive?
A.7In most instances the answer is no because of the journey and time it takes for us to get to your venue. However if your event is being held in Galway and its a Saturday give our manager (James) a call (number at the bottom of the page) and we can discuss an arrangement that is mutually beneficial.
